Teacher Appreciation Week

As I am sure most of you know, it's Teacher Appreciation Week.

My daughter Savannah is in her 2nd and last year of preschool with the same teacher,

Mrs. Healey and assistant teacher Mrs. Buth who we LOVE!

Hopefully in a year when Sawyer is in Preschool he will have Mrs. Healey too!

I am a Room Parent for Savannah's class so I am involved in a lot of prep process.

Decorating the Door, organizing different ideas for the three days our kids have class, etc.

Since its a Lutheran Preschool I decided to go with a Bible Verse Theme this year.

We did Flower Day on Monday - every kid brought a flower in for each teacher.

We put them together in a vase with a Thank You Balloon for them both.

Wednesday was Lunch Day. We all pitched in money to buy both teachers lunch from their favorite restaraunt.

Friday is going to be Gift Card Day. Another parent shared this adorable idea from this month's Family Fun Magazine found here

Together with our Cricut's we managed to cut out 80 flower shapes to use for the flower bases.

She used her Hello Kitty Cartridge and I used my Accents and Shapes Cartridge to make the flowers.

We glued them together at the base leaving the tops open for the gift cards.

We sent 2 flower pockets home with each kid for them to decorate and bring back with their gift cards for the teachers.
